Misha hugs his friend [River]
Misha: time for me to go brothers
Misha: safe paths
River: My master said you must bring the crystal to the dock and to put it in a bag
River: bye Misha
Endy: safe paths brother
River: my master is waiting for us
River: do you have the crystal?
Endy: "We should not keep him waiting then River, I have it in my bag"
Kolbrandr stumbles past the familiar looking slaves, looking in a horrible state. His face is bright red, as though burning furiously and his eyes are wide. He looks possessed as he stumbles along the path, a hand over his mouth.
Endy: Come River, we must hurry if your Master is waiting
River takes Endy by the hand and pulls him along not wanting to keep his master waiting any longer than he has to. he pauses seeing the jarl, he says tal as he passes and keeps going too afraid of his master to stop
River: Tal Jarl
Endy: Greetings Master
River eventually arrives back at the ship with the slave Endy behind him. He pants breathlessly and lowers his head. "sorry my master,"
Franziskus frowns again as he sees the traveller walking along the other side, but he's out of range. And then he sees the other two slaves arriving "Ah, there you are finally!"
Endy: Greetings Master, my apologies, I delayed River in getting back to you
Franziskus: Greetings, Endy
Franziskus: Do you have that crystal, Endy?
Wolf: greetings my brother
Wolf: greetings brother
Endy quickly check the bag in case any of the thieves have "borrowed" his thing again, and feeling the warm crystal grins "Yes Master, I have it"
Franziskus looks at Endy's back, recognizing the bow. He smiles "As I see, you brought your own bow with you. Very well." He turns to Wolf "Give one of the bows to River. The third we will keep in reserve on the ship"
Franziskus: Well, relax and eat something, boys. It will be a short travel, I think
Wolf take the second bow from the bag, handing it at his first brother
River: Thank you brother. River straps the bow to his back
Endy giggles and whispers to River "rembemer, shoot the ENEMY"
River: rolls his eyes
River: just make sure you are behind me brother.
((The ship sets sail to mountains where we believe the Kurii are.))
Franziskus looks around as the ship finally anchors "Hmmm, if this is the right place Krael showed me on the map?"
River: stretches after the short boat journey and kneels for his master
Franziskus: It does not look much like kurii. It looks like a human residence
Franziskus: You boys better stand unless I tell you otherwise
River looks up alarmed
River: Kurii my master?" he shudders remembering the huge beasts from the dock and the way they looked at him as if he was lunch
Endy listens fascinated at the talk between the Mater and the boy, his interest in the Kurii insufficient filled by the quick glimpse he caught on the docks through the crowd
Franziskus: Aye, my lil sunshine. I am searching for that Krael to bring him that crystal and inform him about the news
Franziskus smiles "Well, not necessarily all of it"
Franziskus arranges his weapons and takes a deep breath. Looking into each of the slaves' eyes "Are you ready, slaves?"
Wolf: yes my Master, we are ready
Madoob Bruh looks down from the wall and sees armed slaves with a man. Arms folded he shouts out ---- Sir if you bring those boys into the village armed I will see them strung dead from the wall
River shudders again and nods clearly terrified
Wolf look around and only stay on his guard
Franziskus frowns as he hears a human voice looking around where the voice comes from
Endy looks at the Master and bows slightly "Yes Master" but his eyes widen with concern at the shouted words he hears
Madoob gave a nod to the man, his tone no less unpleasant --- Beyond that you are welcome.
Franziskus shrugs not seeing the owner of the voice "Who shouts there?"
Wolf look around only notice a Free Women far to his left
Franziskus finally sees him "Oh! There you are! Tal and salutations, Sir! I'm Franziskus, harbourmaster of Hrimgar"
Brig comes up to the sounds of yelling, she scowled at Mad, moving to stand beside him looking down towards teh gathering on the bottom level of the docks .. "Why must you be so hostile to our Companionship Ceremony guests?" .. she paused, looking down at all the weapons.. suddenly a bit concerned .. "That IS what they're here for right?"
Madoob yelled out again down from the wall ---- Up here sir. And take what I said with no disrespect meant. It is merely law. NO slave will be armed HERE!
Madoob: Well met Franziskur. I am Mad. This is the Lady Green Brigida
River looks to his brothers with grave concern. if they are unarmed then they will not be able to defend their master if need be
Madoob gave the woman a stiff look then cast his eyes back down at the man. The look on his face, at least to the man, was calm and even pleasant. Though he clearly would not tolerate any slave that was armed and by the look on his face didn't seem to understand those that did. ---- “We have fine paga and ales in the tavern, as well as the best smoked fish on the river. You are most welcome to enter the village sir.”
Wolf looks at his first brother, why are you so surprised my brother?
Endy listens with concern, and checks that he has rocks in his pockets in case they try to take away his bow
Franziskus: Well met, Mad! Do not worry, brave man. We are coming in peace. But we are looking for kur called Krael." - He adds with a smile "I suppose the beast doesn't live in your village, does it? But maybe you heard about it? He's... uhm... big... black... quite furry?"
Franziskus bows a bit to the Free Women as a greeting too
Madoob shook his head and instantly became defensive over the topic of Kurii --- “I know of no beasts. And certainly none that live in the village! THIS is a respectful fishing village sir.” ---- it was an utter lie, but he wasn't about to admit anything about Kurii to strangers. --- “I would imagine one might find such things in the hills, mountains and forests.”
Brig had no knowledge of the kurii .. where they lived .. or their names. So there wasn’t much she could add to the conversation. After nodding her head back to the man down on the docks she offered a small smile that quickly was lost to a yawn. She blinked, looking around .. and stepped back .. appearing to leave the wall when really she simply sat down out of view and scooted back to Mad's side, her hand creeping shamelessly up under his kilt .. just to be a bitch and screw with him while he tried to talk .. after all .. he deserved it ..
River: maybe we are in the wrong mountains my master," he say softly. "this kur that gave you the map maybe it is wrong."
River looks around himself for some rocks to put in his pouch.
River: he sighs deeply as he sees none and decides to keep his eyes open if and when they leave the dock area
Wolf growl as he think about his slingshot ranged in the bag with his rock pouch
Madoob kept watch on the man and the slaves with him. He would clearly not admit anything regarding Kurii. But he remained polite with the matter. Once he felt a hand at his kilt his head turned to Brig and he scowled at her . His hand was quick to move her and he would have spoke to her, but was holding back. Though his face did speak volumes before he turned away
Franziskus smiles though he has strange feeling the man is not absolutely true, so neither is he himself. "Of course, Sir! So I assumed about your honour. I just thought you heard about them... so close to the mountains... We would like to visit your.. hospitable village another time. And then of course the thralls will disarm. Maybe we even can negotiate for some trades? But for now we are on the search for one special kur and you might understand, that I don't want to meet those beasts with unarmed slaves behind me?"
[15:13] Madoob BruhMadoob Bruh gave the man a nod and even a bit of a smile. --- Yes of course I understand. And I look forward to meeting you again as well as wish you luck in what you seek... though I can be of little help. All I can tell you is there are mountains to the Northeast and forest to the North and East. Perhaps what you seek is there.
Brig huffed softly, very very softly when he moved her hand and stepped away giving her a death glare. She smirked, and fell back on her back, not acting at all like a free woman but then again no one could see her and it was all a part of her plan to drive him bat shit crazy. She lifted a leg, extending it to poke her foot up under his short kilt this time, smirking up at him
Endy stretches slightly being unused to standing without moving or serving, the balls of his feet beginning to ache from the little used stance
Franziskus nods and smiles "Thank you for your help, Sir." - Then adds after a short consideration "Maybe... if you don't hear of us again... you can send a messenger to the village of Hrimgar and tell them, they have to search for a new harbourmaster?"
Wolf yams annoyed by the free which thinks a boy can defend his Master with his hand against a Kurii
Madoob: I will do just that if I hear you never made it back to the ship. You have my word on that. ---- He was trying really hard to pay attention to the man but the dammed woman, hidden from view, was distracting him and more and more his face was turning red with irritation. SOMEONE was going to get beat.
Franziskus: So, we pass your village now, if that is fine for you?" - Just assuring he doesn't get shot in the back. He recognizes the man turning kinda red in his face "Are you well, Sir? Maybe you should see a healer. Even down here I can see you must have fever!"
Madoob gave a look to Mickael, one that said he took the boys look to mean he didn't like the rule. With a grin he patted his blade as if the say he would kill that boy without a moment’s hesitation if he ever say him armed in the village or armed with out his Master present.
River paces the dock feeling overly nervous, he peers across the water into the darkness thinking he heard a noise on the far bank
Madoob: It is most fine sir. I wish you MOST well and good fortune!
Brig lazily dragged her foot up and down rubbing at his thigh, nudging up higher to really piss him off. She didn’t care if he beat her, it was worth it only to see him stumble over words and get all red faced
Franziskus nods and raises his hand "Safe paths and be well, Sir!", then nods to his boys to follow him, with their bows on their backs as he had the man's word
Franziskus: Come, boys!
Wolf: yes my Master, sign a bye with his hand
River hurries after his master, nervously, but feeling better knowing his chain brother is with him
Franziskus giggles a bit as they are out of sight and mumbles more to himself "I'm quite sure, each of you boys could have kicked his butt even without a bow"
Wolf: I like that kind of free my Master
River: bends down and scoops up a few hands of rocks and puts them into the pouch at his thigh.
Wolf: they fall much more easy than other, my Master
LuckyJade Alterr looks around, trying to spot the owner of the voices
Endy giggles and whispers in conspiracy "I think River could have taken him down with even a hand tied being his back"
River rolls his eyes at his friend's teasing of his lack of ability with a bow
Endy looks to Wolf and wonders at his ability, seeing muscles, but never having seen him in defence - only having heard about him by reputation
LuckyJade : Tal Free...kajiru *her piercing blue eyes odd against her tan plains skin* Something I can help you with? *she asked as she leans on the horn of her saddle*
Franziskus stops at the foot of the hill in surprise as he recognizes the bond on a kaiila "Tal, bond!" - He tilts his head a bit in curiosity "I never seen a kaiila that far north!"
Wolf look the girl keep his attention around while he greet her

LuckyJade just looks at them, wondering what a bunch of slaves boys could possibly be doing in kur land
River sees a shadow across the river and steps back, his eyes fixed on the disappearing shape
Franziskus fights the urge to reach for his axe as he sees a dark figure approaching at the bridge. He forces his attention back to the bond, but watching the kur from the corner of his eyes "We are looking for a kur.... one of the six claws... I was told they are hid.. uhm... camping here in the hills?"
Franziskus: You know them, girl?
River eyes widen as he sees more clearly the shape coming out of the shadows.
Franziskus: I am Franziskus, the harbourmaster of Hrimgar
LuckyJade decides to play dumb 'Kur? No Kur here...'
River: he steps closer to his master and whispers. "My master do you see it."
Franziskus smiles warmly "Maybe I should ask then the one behind you, girl?"
Endy rests a calming hand on Rivers shoulder and whispers to him "We are here brother, and you skills are great thanks to Dar. Stay calm brother"
Wolf looks the bond..... mmmm no Kur here bond?
LuckyJade looks at Wolf 'Tal my Lord' looking back at Franzi 'OH! The big furry balls of alien sexyness....that's Lords...not Kur' *nodding a little*
River heart races as the kur steps into view, memories taunting him once more
LuckyJade's eyes lock on the squirmy, she could practically see him peeing himself right now 'Why is your friend so afraid?'
Wolf step one meter and cover his Master
Wolf Mistwallow: the oversized dominant Kur soldier moves up to the small gathering on the dock..having been scouting around the mountains and hills...he watched the group from the distance and then now decided to see what the humans were wanting ...taking in the scents of those gahered..his bright yellow eyes looked over each as he spoke..mimicing their language in hisses and grunts "TarrRrrrll...pet" to his human pet lucky..then his lip curls as he looks over the others "TarrRrrl huuoomanzz"
Franziskus growls at the kur's pet "Don't be so insolent, kur-food!", then ignoring the pet turns to the beast, trying to remember it is the same he met on the docks of Hrimgar together with the one called Krael, but one kur looks like the other to him, so he doesn't know and just raises his empty hand "Tal"
Wolf look his Master then the Kur, I don’t understand very well what he say my Master
River knows he should be standing by his brother's side to defend their master but his feet will not move.
Franziskus leans to his lil devil and whispers from the corner of his mouth "He said 'Tal humans', I think"
LuckyJade gives a low growl, her piercing blue eyes intense on him 'My Lord let me bite...please...'
Wolf Mistwallow: he huffed a bit in laughter listening to them "Whhat brrRrringzz ou herRRrree? PerrRrhapz trRrade?" looked to the thrall wolf...and licked his lips...he was at least toned..and the meat would be tender
Franziskus then louder again although he's sure the kur understood every word anyways "I am looking for one who is called Krael"
Wolf listen at his Master whispered explanation and nod then turn again to the Kur, tal... hhum hum..
Endy creeps closer cautiously staring at the Kurii, glad at last to get a clear view of one, his eyes shining wide with fascination
River moves nervously forward, driven by the need to prove himself to his brother that his master's choice of first in chain was justified.
Wolf Mistwallow: he wondered why the human spoke louder..but shrugged his massive shoulders...reaching to his large shaggy chin..he rubbed it in thought "I will szzpeak honezztlyiee to youu. I havfee been on hiatuszz forRrr a long time. That name...iszz not familiarrRrr to me"
Wolf sign both of brother to get a distance between him and them, he whispers "don’t stay to near brothers"
Franziskus’ eyes follow the sparkling yellow eyes to his lil devil. Then turns his attention back to the kur. He snips his finger to command his alarmed thralls to his back again
LuckyJade leans over, whispering to her Lord
River hears the snap of his master's fingers and immediately falls back, to well trained to ignore it
Wolf Mistwallow: the large Kur looked to the thrall river..and tilted his head in curiosity "YourrRrr huuooman rRreprRroductive orRrgans arRre showing"
Wolf listen his Master fingers claps he step back of one meter but remain before his Master
Wolf Mistwallow: his ear twitched as she spoke..and he nodded to her "yeszz youu may go to continue yourRrr chorRrezz miszzcheeef"
LuckyJade glared at the human males and trotted off and grumbling
Franziskus takes a deep breath, considering for a moment his chances against a kur, a kaiila and a pet, but tries to calm himself, as he's coming in peace and was granted protection by the high kur-officer Krael... IF he really was one of the leaders as he had said. So he tries again "We were asked by that Krael for information about Initiates and your enemies - the Priest Kings"
Franziskus: But... it is important to speak to him in person... " - He frowns a moment, considering if you would say in case of a kur 'in person'....
Endy creeps forward cautiously, trying to obey the harbour Master but his curiosity to strong and wanting to see the fabled Kurii more.. he keeps a close distance to the harbour Master in case the Master orders him back in displeasure
Franziskus’ lips are flashed by a short smile at the kur's remark about his boy's 'reproduction organ', but he fights the urge to look over his shoulder, cause he doesn't want to let the beast out of his eyes
River: checks his kilt and sees nothing showing through the slit.
Wolf Mistwallow: turning his attention back to the 4 humans now that one he thought hard on..the gears moving in his brain...Krael..a high officer? whoever this Krael was..perhaps he replaced him as an eye...but as he considered himself a low soldier right now..having JUST returned home...he was not about to say anything..or grant anything until he knew better "It doeszz not szeeem the KurRrr you arrRre looking forrRr is herRre at the moment. and I am the only one availible...not surRre how I could help youu rRrright now. Though I will admit.....the dirrRrt and grRrrasszz on you smellzz familiarRr to me..."
Wolf move on his right side giving more amplitude for his Master sight and move
Franziskus still unsure if they are at the right place decides it is better to return to the ships. No big trust in his heart for the kurii and the yellow eyes fixed on his yummy boys making him more and more nervous. "Well then... would you... inform that Krael... IF he is one of yours... that Franziskus, the harbourmaster of Hrimgar, wanted to speak to him? And tell him, I got for him those news he desired?"
Wolf looks at his left see the insolent bond returns, he greet her again
Wolf: tal bond
Wolf Mistwallow: he nodded at that "I will paszzz the message to the superRrriorRrzz of the Clawwzzz HarrRrbourRrmassterRrr" now he knew they were from Hrimgar...thought the grass smelled familiar on them...but he couldnt place it until then
LuckyJade ignores the man, having already greeted him and not interested on wasting her breath on humans any longer
Franziskus nods "Well then... safe paths.. uhm... " - trying to remember if the kur told him it's name, but if so he forgotten it "... uhm..., beast!" He nods to the slaves so they should return slowly... still cautiously as the beasts are fast in their attacks. Stepping pace by pace back himself, keeping his eye fixed on the kur
Wolf looks the bond, begin to be irritate by her lack of politeness he higher his voice at her enough to sho her his irritation, safe paths
Wolf Mistwallow: having no glory in killing these humans who came in peace..he nodded to them "TrRravel well"

Franziskus waves his boys over the bridge, waiting himself till they passed it, then follows them
River just nods to the kur, he has no interest in a kur food slaves
Wolf climbs the bridge in position to cover his Master and brothers
River joins his master on the dock, and boards the ship home
Wolf join his Master jump into the boat
Franziskus exhales relieved as all the boys and himself are safely back on the ship. He nods to the captain so they quickly can leave this place
Franziskus: Whew! Well done, boys!
[Endy follows the harbour Master and his boys and boards the boat, nodding gratefully at the captain for waiting
Franziskus: I'm not sure, if this was the right place
River: swallows the lump that has been in his throat since they landed in this place. he smiles slighly at his master's calming tones.
Wolf: that kur stunk 10 meters around, my Master
Franziskus: I'm glad, Krael didn't take my invitation to our living room the other day. I think we would have had to open the windows a whole week!
River: smiles at his master's jest
Wolf: yes my Master, and my Master know how much i like to wash the house, pout
Endy chuckles at the master's playful jesting with his boys knowing how well the brothers kept the masters house, and thinking of the smell in the thieves cave from being unable to persuade Master Hid to ever give up his furs for cleaning
River settles down for the journey home, looking forward to setting foot back on home soil
